Out of the proverbial blue, I received an e-mail from a student at Singapore Management University telling me about this really impressive project her and her classmates have got going on.
Called simply Digital Media Across Asia, it’s aiming to be a comprehensive Wiki-type site for social media throughout the region. It looks great and they seem to have a lot of people on board, so it’s definitely worth checking out.
Secondly, I discovered that Korea Business Central now has a group devoted to discussing social media issues in Korea and more generally. It’s run by Liam Lusk and Carl Kwan, neither of whom I’ve met but who both seem to have considerable experience with social media. At any rate, the group looks like it’s going to be a very valuable resource.
